BIA Interiors Feature: What's New with Us
Claire Fleming of BIA Interiors recently completed this townhouse project in Brooklyn Heights, alongside Ingui Architecture's Marc Fabris and Joey Chemello. The design blends the existing and historic elements of the home with interesting, contemporary pieces. We enhanced the architectural elements of the space with a neutral palette and layered color intentionally through bold furniture with rich textures and varied materials.
This year's Brooklyn Heights Designer Showhouse kitchen was designed by Claire Fleming and Maggie Hummel, of Ingui Architecture. They transformed the garden-level kitchen from floor to ceiling, creating a space that is calm, sophisticated, and classically New York.
Thanks to everyone who made the showhouse kitchen possible, including SMR Craftworks, BAS Stone, MORE AntiEtch, Walker Zanger, Ferguson, Marset, Ikon Windows, Elegance in Hardware, The Hudson Company, Iron Abode, Wovn Home, Roll & Hill, Dennis Miller, Stark Carpet, Mud Australia, Aero Studios, and Joanna Frank Design Shop.
Transforming a space doesn’t always mean a floor-to-ceiling gut renovation. This apartment project, by Sohui Kim and Meghan Laky, involved furnishing our clients’ recently renovated Upper West Side home. We carefully blended their art collection with modern elements, including new lighting, seating, and floor treatments.
