Passive House Accelerator founder and Baxt Ingui Partner, Michael Ingui, and John Mitchell from bldgtyp discussed one of Michael's favorite projects. The Colonnade Row Passive House is located in the Brooklyn Heights Historic District, and the retrofit included a two-story rear addition, eight-foot cellar dig out, and a tiered rear yard connecting to a deck off the main level.
Using the home as an example, they share lessons learned and best practices for Passive retrofits in landmarked historic districts.
