City College of NY Students Learning About Passive House
Events

Last week, we were able to share the process of Passive House construction with City College of New York students. The site visit was a rare hands-on learning opportunity for the "Low Energy Buildings/High-Performance Architecture" class, taught by Alan Barlis of Barlis Wedlick Architects and adjunct lecturer Ben Leer of 475.

The class of both undergraduate and graduate students toured our under-construction Colonnade Row Revival Passive House. Site visits such as this are important to understanding the real-world application of principles learned in the classroom. The future of building meets future designers!
