Columbia Heights Brownstone

Located on a prominent block near the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, this historic brownstone had much intact historic detail on the interiors. Our goals included preserving and highlighting this detail by restoring it and keeping the rest of the interiors clean and modern.

Brightening the living room and carefully selecting interesting furnishings transformed the space from a dark, leftover space to a bright, inviting room.

The home had been renovated by the owners in the 1980s, and they wanted to upgrade the home to fit their current taste and lifestyle. Replacing the all-white kitchen with natural wood and a marble island brought visual interest to the space.
